Ann Summers shopping trip: Ariella Longline bra set, plus hold-up stockings

So, the other day I went for another shopping trip at Ann Summers. 

I always find it such a rush, to shop for lingerie as a secret crossdresser. Some people are daunted by Ann Summers because it's so 'full on', but I'm now actually fairly relaxed shopping there - I figure they've seen it all! Nevertheless, this time I chose to keep my crossdressing intentions a secret and play the 'girlfriend' card instead.

After some browsing round the shop for a little while, one of the sales girls asked if I needed any help, which I politely declined. I then realised that the sale rack actually had some pretty nice items on it (including matching sets) so decided to look through it a little further.

I picked out a matching pink satin set - which I now know to be the Ariella Longline Balcony Bra (in a 36C) with Ariella Short (size 12). These were both marked as half price - the bra down from £26 to £13, with the short marked down from £14 to £7.

On the Ann Summers website, the Ariella bra has the following description: 'Showcase your sass in super sexy satin. The satin of the Ariella collection provides the perfect contrast to the lace overlay and mesh back. The strong caged, longline front gives this pretty bra a super edgy twist.  Pair with the matching short or thong from the Ariella set for supped-up sexiness.'

The short is described as 'Short and sweet. The Ariella short is the perfect seductive accompaniment to the Ariella longline bra. The front panel is made punchy and powerful with eyelash lace overlay, mesh back and peep hole. Topped with a bow, you’re sure to be the perfect gift.'

I thought it was a nice set, and would be passable as a potential 'gift for the girlfriend' should there be any awkward questions at the checkout! The longline 'cage' effect on the bra gives it quite a distinctive style. I particularly liked the combination of girly satin pink with seductive black lace detailing on the front, but the back of the set is equally sexy with a black see-through mesh.

I then realised that I'd like to complete the set by getting some stockings. Unfortunately I couldn't find a suitable suspender belt to go with the set, so I decided to look for some hold-ups instead (particularly as my existing hold-up collection isn't that big). 

The stockings and hold-ups are available in boxes on a display rack in Ann Summers, and there is always lots of choice! Blacks, whites, reds, lacey, glossy... take your pick! They are usually priced at £12 each, but often have a 'buy one get one free' offer on, so it's often worth getting two sets.

After looking for a little while, I settled on the Lace Top Spot Hold Up which have a cute polka dot design, and the White-Top Lace Top Hold Ups which have pretty black bow on the white lace. Both are pictured below, and I picked them up in the small/medium size category.

Happy with my selections, I then made my way to the checkout. As I approached, there was a cute blonde girl on the til who asked: 'Do you want advice on some of the sizes?', to which I replied 'I think I know the sizes, yep, pretty confident, thank you'.

Her colleague (brunette, also cute!) then came over to help with sorting out the order. There was a bit of chit-chat between the three of us while they did everything.

Brunette: 'This is a good choice, I like this one'.

Blonde: 'I like this one as well! I like that it's longline'

Brunette: 'Yeah'.

Blonde: 'Is she quite petite'?

(uh oh, what do I say here?!)

Me: 'Umm not massively, but yeah...'

Blonde: 'Uh huh'.

Me: 'Yeah, it's 36C'.

Brunette: 'Is it a special night?'

Me: 'Err not particularly, just a bit of a surprise'.

Brunette: 'A surprise, yeah. It's a good one! Do you want me to take the prices off?'

Me: 'Yeah ok then, thanks'.

Brunette: 'You can still bring them back'.

Me: 'Sure, that's fine'.

Then the two girls discussed with each other while they sorted out the tags and wrapped the lingerie up:

Blonde: 'The sale tags'.

Brunette: 'I took the whole thing off!'

Blonde: 'I can tell you didn't work here over Valentine's Day because that's all we did. Because everyone was like "can you take the sale price off"...!'

Brunette: 'That is £38 then please! Thank you... There's your change, let me just get you a bag. Did you want to leave your email for a 15% off voucher?'

Me: 'Err no thanks I'll leave it for now, cheers'.

Brunette: 'Ok your receipt is in the bag. Have a nice day, bye!'

I then confidently strolled off with new purchase in hand. For anyone lacking confidence to go and shop, it just shops how easy it is!

So how did it fit?

Once I was home I was able to unpack and slip into my new set, which had been delicately wrapped in pink tissue paper. Here are a couple of pics below!

In these ones I'm wearing the polka dot style hold-ups. I think the overall look works well, what do you think? The satin on the bra and knickers feels truly gorgeous, and size-wise it works pretty well too. The knickers possibly feel like they possibly aren't quite the optimum fit (I can never work out why with Ann Summers, I think possible because they are often quite skimpy and therefore don't have much room for my little 'extra' downstairs!). But overall it feels good and I'm really happy with my purchase.

I picked the hold-ups with the white tops because they look quite unique, and I can perhaps see them working well in a maid outfit combination one day. Here's a picture of what those look like:

Planning a week of feminisation

This blog post outlines my ideas for an ideal 'week of feminisation' (otherwise known as 'sissification') which I intend to carry out when time allows. You may also wish to use this as a basis for your own feminisation. Ideally this should be done at an appropriate time, e.g. when you have your home to yourself for a sufficient period. A suggested timeframe is a minimum of 5 days, although ideally 7 if feasible. A target timeframe should be set at the start of sissification, and should not be abandoned.

The aim of the week is to ensure as close as possible to full and complete feminisation, both physically, psychologically and sexually, for the whole period of time. This will allow you to feel closer to your female form for the duration of the sissification period, ultimately tricking your mind into believing you are female. The aim is to convert as many aspects as possible of your daily life into a more feminine lifestyle. The programme also has elements of chastity built in to encourage sexual frustration, which aids the submissive feminisation process. These rules should be decided in advance, and discipline should be maintained to ensure strict adherence with the rules, keeping in mind you will have to deal with a high level of sexual tension.

Preparation

Ahead of your feminisation period, it is advised that you refrain from orgasm for a minimum of 7 days, as this will increase sexual frustration and a desire to be female. You could also refrain from wearing any female clothing during this period, in order to increase anticipation for the week ahead.

You may also wish to use this time to purchase the necessary items (clothes, lingerie, accessories etc) for your week ahead, although shopping during the week itself is also encouraged. You may wish to grow your nails longer in advance (though false nails are another option), and finally a haircut ahead of your feminisation week may improve the fitting of your wig.

Just before your week begins, you should hide all objects in your house which are overtly masculine (deodorants, clothing, watches, accessories, etc). You may wish to add more feminine touches to your home before your week starts (e.g. flowers, candles) and a particularly good idea is to fit some satin bedsheets onto your bed for the week.

Clothing

It is compulsory to wear female underwear for the duration of the week, and under no circumstances must male underwear (e.g. boxers) be worn. This includes all time out in public or at work. At a very minimum, panties/thong plus female tights/stockings/socks, must be worn when out, although it is appreciated that other items such as a bra may be inappropriate to wear at work and therefore this is not essential when in public. You may wear male items over your female underwear when in public in order to conceal your sissy identity. However, if it is possible to substitute some of these items for subtle female clothing (e.g. jeans, t-shirts) this is encouraged.

When at home, you should always wear full female attire. This includes under and outer wear, and includes (but is not limited to) lingerie, panties, bras, tights, stockings, suspenders, shapewear, corsets, leggings, dresses, blouses, shorts, jeans and shirts. You should ideally have enough lingerie for a different bra/panty set each day. You should also only wear female footwear (shoes or slippers) at home, and nightwear must also be female only when sleeping (a nightdress/chemise/babydoll is ideal).

If possible you should wear a female wig at all times when at home (including at night), as well as full female makeup when at home in the day (e.g. foundation, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, lipstick, blush, false nails or nail varnish). Female accessories are strongly encouraged for complete feminisation (e.g. jewellery, necklaces, bracelets). Additional enhancements such as breastforms or cleavage enhancers should be worn if possible.

Bathroom routine

Sissies should stay clean and hygienic at all times. You should take a shower/bath regularly and this should always be with female soap/gel/shampoo and bath products. A frilly puff sponge should be used to clean yourself. Any facial hair must of course be eradicated, and it is encouraged to shave all other parts too (legs, arms, pubic) though it is appreciated this may be difficult to justify for those in relationships (if this is the case, a quick tidy-up of these areas is still mandatory).

You should substitute any bathroom products for female alternatives (e.g. pink toothbrush, razor, female shaving foam). You should also put on female body lotion or fragrances/perfume when at home in order to maintain smooth skin and a female scent at all times.

You must always sit down when using the toilet - with no exceptions.

Activities

You should only partake in female activities for the duration of the week, and should avoid any undesirable 'manly' pastimes. Your TV and film watching must all be strongly female in nature (e.g. rom-coms). Your internet browsing must revolve around feminine themes/interests (e.g. shopping, baking, fashion, celebrities, female forums) and you should only read feminine books/magazines. Any music you listen to should be appropriate for a female ear.

If you drink, you should only select appropriate drinks, such as rosé/white wine or girly cocktails. Food should preferably be modest in order to watch your weight, e.g. light meals and salads. Strictly no beer.

Shopping for new clothes, lingerie and accessories is strongly encouraged (both online and in store) and it is expected that this will be an enjoyable pastime for you.

Household chores such as cleaning, hoovering and dusting may need to be undertaken, and it is recommended that you carry these out while wearing a French maid outfit.

Communication

In order to detach yourself from your male persona, you should ideally avoid communication with friends and family (either face-to-face or remotely). Instead, you should focus on communication with people online as your feminine persona, always using your girl name. You may wish to use an alternative smartphone to help with this, and consider using a feminine phone case and wallpaper.

Chastity and sexual behaviour

For the first day of your sissification, no physical sexual stimulation is allowed. Absolutely no masturbation is permitted and you must not touch your genitalia in a sexual way. Pornography and sex toys are also strictly forbidden. This is to encourage you to focus on your feminine self and also to build sexual frustration. After all, a real girl does not have a penis to play with. If a chastity device/cage helps with this, you may wish to fit such a device. You may wish to engage in the feminine hobbies outlined above to provide a distraction from the sexual frustration. You may take pictures and chat online with others about your progress, providing you do not show your penis at this stage (in fact it is desirable if you can find sissy admirers online who you can discuss your progress with).

By the second day, you will most likely be feeling a lot of sexual frustration. Masturbation is still forbidden, but you may now use anal toys and pornography if necessary to help alleviate the tension. In fact, anal play is greatly encouraged as the sole way of providing some sexual satisfaction. You must still not play with your penis though, in order to prevent orgasm. Handcuffs or restraints can be used to help prevent such action. If orgasm occurs as a result of anal play or feminisation, this is frowned upon but must be accepted as a natural response.

In the third day, you will be desperate for physical contact and you may finally release some frustration by masturbating. However, orgasm is still strictly forbidden in order to further increase sexual tension. You may stimulate yourself until just before orgasm.

From the fourth day onwards, if you wish you may be rewarded for your patience by achieving orgasm. If you do this, you should always aim to swallow any resulting cum in order to maintain your sissy status. If you have also followed the 7-day preparatory chastity recommendation, you will have gone 10 full days without orgasm and therefore should experience a large amount of relief.

I hope this process of feminisation brings you much closer to your feminine side, and that you follow the rules closely despite the urges you may experience during your chastity phases. After this experience you should be much more in tune with your sissy self, and you may wish to blog about your week and share it with me here.

How to crossdress without getting caught

This post is designed to provide some advice for all the secret crossdressers out there who want to enjoy all the benefits of sexy dressing, but without ever getting caught!

If you live by yourself, then great - Get crossdressing! However, things are much more difficult when living with friends or loved ones - and these tips may be of help. Please feel free to comment your own ideas too!

Buying clothes in store:

If you're going to buy your own things (and trust me, it's more fun that 'borrowing'), then you essentially have 2 options: Shopping in store, or online.

If you're shopping in store - good for you! I often lack the courage to do this, but it's a great thrill. If you shop somewhere that you definitely won't bump into anyone you know, this is a great option. Pay by cash, say it's for your girlfriend, and walk away without a trace.

The disadvantages - less choice, potentially more expensive, and for many very nerve-racking!

Buying online:

There's a world of sexy clothing and lingerie available online - the choice is overwhelming. Personally, this is my preferred way to shop. It feels discreet and I can spend as long as I want browsing the options available. However, here are some to tips to make sure you don't get caught.

• Always clear your internet history, or use private browsing. Be vary careful to not leave any browser tabs open, or indeed anything that would look suspicious.
• Do your research and use reputable sites.
• Check out the packaging specifications in case your parcel is discovered by anyone else. Perhaps a generic department store may be less suspicious than a dedicated lingerie website? Or at least make sure your treats will come in 'plain packaging'.
• Find out what will appear on your bank statements, if there's a chance a partner might look at it. PayPal is sometimes a good option instead.
• Consider the best delivery option. Collection points/lockers away from your home are a great option if available.
• Always use a separate email address where possible. You don't want your girlfriend or housemates spotting anything incriminating the next time you're browsing your regular inbox.!

Dressing up sessions:

Clearly, this is when you have the most fun, but are at your most vulnerable. Only dress up if you know you will have privacy. That may mean checking on the whereabouts of anyone you share your house with, to make sure your special time is not interrupted.

Also, it almost goes without saying, but make sure you 'clean up' thoroughly. Check and double-check that ALL your lingerie has been put away safely - from the boldest basque to the skimpiest suspender strap. If you're in a rush you can make mistakes, so allow time for a proper tidy up.

Storing your clothes:

Arguably this is the hardest part. No matter how careful you are with everything listed above, there will inevitably be times that you have to leave the house while others could potentially stumble across your unguarded treasure trove.

I like to keep everything well-packaged in an unassuming box or bag. Make sure you keep it somewhere that is very well hidden. If it takes you a little while to dig it back out again each time, then that's a small price to pay for using a secure location.

Above all, be cautious. Dressing up is an incredible joy, but many of us would prefer to keep it a very private part of our lives.

Or course, in an ideal world, if your loved ones do find out and accept it, then great. But sadly that may not always work out well. So, until then, it can be our little secret... ;) xx

Hello and welcome to my brand new blog about my addition to lingerie ;)
